Taste of NoVA Burger Week brings you discounted burger specials from Taste of NoVA's most delicious restaurants. Each restaurateur and Chef will prepare their unique take on burger with a burger special.
It's been known for some time that Taste of NoVA is a creative culinary hot spot. We are celebrating the city's most creative creations - Burgers! Each restaurateur and Chef will prepare their unique take on burger with a burger special. The idea is to get people to embrace the food, culture and Taste of NoVA-love while getting them out to eat, drink, and try new places!
Let the Burger Week app take you on a Taste of NoVA exploration; map out your week, try new restaurants, challenge your taste buds, and share your experiences on social media with fellow Taste of NoVA burger lovers.
How It Works1. Get the Burger Week app
2. Choose a participating restaurant to dine-in during Burger Week
3. While you're at the restaurant, use the app to check in. You'll earn points towards being the Biggest Burger Lover in NoVA!
Check in to 4 restaurants during the week to be entered into a drawing to win the Taste of NoVA Burger Week grand prize.
The person with the most points accrued at the end of the week will be declared the Biggest Burger Lover in NoVA!
Taste of NoVA Burger Week creates such strong, lusty, even insane feelings that we decided it needed its own little manifesto. Please read on...
1. THEY COULD RUN OUTWe expect that the restaurants will be extremely busy. So, if a place runs out toward the end of a shift, handle it like an adult, go back the next day (earlier), order your burger special and thank them for working hard. Please be nice to our restaurants.
2. THERE'LL LIKELY BE WAITSThe excitement for Taste of NoVA Burger Week has been building! Don't be surprised if restaurants have waits. In fact, be surprised if they don't.
3. TIP LIKE A PRODiscounted brings out the cheap in all of us, but really, you're likely getting a $10+ burger special, so please tip at least 20%. The people who are serving you are working harder during Burger Week than an average week. A kind word will also be welcome – these people are our friends and neighbors.
4. YOU SHOULD BUY A DRINK AND/OR OTHER FOODPurchase of sides and extras is not a requirement, but we think it says a lot to those working hard to bring you an extraordinary experience. Grab some appetizer or cocktail and say thanks!
5. CHECK SOCIAL MEDIARestaurants will be encouraged to post their waits and remaining burgers for the day on their social platforms. Also don't forget to share and tag your photos with #TasteOfNoVA
6. DINE-IN (CARRY-OUT OPTIONS MAY VARY)Just a final note that many restaurants may require you dine-in for their burger specials. Take-out may be subjected to a surge charge depending on each restaurant's policy. Make sure to double-check the Taste of NoVA App to confirm which locations offer carry-out and which locations are dine-in only.
